Product Technician (PT)
Reports To: General Manager
About the role
The Product Technician handles merchandise from loading and delivery to setup, troubleshooting, and demonstration. This role occasionally involves reviewing lease agreements and ensuring customers have an excellent experience.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure all merchandise is clean and operational.
- Acquire and maintain customers while protecting company assets.
- Load, secure, offload, install, and demonstrate merchandise.
- Follow delivery schedules and safely deliver to customers’ homes and businesses.
- Perform routine service calls and product exchanges.
- Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center.
- Maintain the store warehouse in a neat and organized manner.
- Safely operate and inspect delivery vehicles daily.
- Confirm customer ID, collect payments, and obtain signatures.
- Deliver company advertisements and flyers in the field.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements & skills
- High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant education and experience.
- Ability to lift, load, and move merchandise weighing between 50 and 300 lbs.
- Neatly groomed and professional appearance.
- Strong communication and technical skills, especially with electronic products.
- Valid driver’s license, satisfactory MVR, D.O.T. physical (if required), drug screen, and background check.
